Tribute to Kim Jong Suk Paid
Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- Wreaths were laid before the bust of Kim Jong Suk, anti-Japanese heroine, at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong on Thursday on the occasion of her 92nd birth anniversary.

Seen standing before the bust was a wreath sent by Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.

Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were senior party, army and state officials, the chairperson of a friendly party, leading officials of the party, armed forces and power organs, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, servicepersons of the KPA, people from all walks of life and school youth and children in Pyongyang.

Laid before the bust were wreaths in the name of the WPK Central Committee, the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly and the DPRK Cabinet, the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, KPA units, educational, public health and media organs, the Joint National Organization of the Korean Children's Union, party and power organs, factories and farms in Pyongyang.

Meanwhile, the military attache corps here laid a wreath and the chief and staffers of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front placed bouquets before her bust.

Floral baskets were placed before her statues standing in Kim Jong Suk County and Hoeryong City and at Kim Jong Suk Naval University and Kim Jong Suk General Military Academy on the same day.
