Landscape and Handicraft Exhibition Opens
Pyongyang, December 23 (KCNA) -- A national exhibition of landscape paintings and handicraft was opened on Wednesday to commemorate the 92nd birth anniversary of Kim Jong Suk, anti-Japanese heroine.

Presented to the exhibition were at least 300 pieces of landscape and handicraft of various genres produced by artists of fine art studios including the Mansudae Art Studio and the Korean Central Fine Arts Studio.

On display at the exhibition hall were works showing the great life and exploits of Kim Jong Suk. Among them are poster "May Our Great Country Prosper Forever!" which depicted the personality of the three commanders of Mt. Paektu, the great persons, and Korean painting "Comrade
Kim Jong Suk, Anti-Japanese Heroine".

There are also works on the majestic looks of Songun Korea seething with the drive to open the gate to a great prosperous and powerful nation under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The exhibits include ceramics and embroideries showing the wisdom and talent of the Korean nation.

Its opening ceremony took place at the Pyongyang International Cultural Centre.
