Preview of "Song of East Sea"
Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- A feature film "Song of East Sea" (Parts 1 and 2) was recently produced by the Korean Film Studio. The preview of the film took place at Taedongmun Cinema on Tuesday.

Appreciating the film were senior party and state officials, the chairpersons of the friendly parties, officials of ministries and national institutions and working people in Pyongyang.

The film makes an artistic depiction of the historical fact that a new era of the Juche-oriented overseas compatriots movement was ushered in and the desire of Koreans in Japan for their repatriation to the socialist homeland came true thanks to the outstanding idea and wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung.

Koreans in Japan including hero of the film Han Tok Su, though subjected to all sorts of national contempt and discrimination in Japan, are dynamically advancing along the road of patriotism, holding the President in high esteem as the sun of the nation as he achieved the liberation of the country and built a genuine country for the people.

Highly proud of being overseas citizens of the dignified DPRK, they declare the birth of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, a Juche-typed overseas compatriots' organization, before the whole world, frustrating the reckless moves of the U.S. and Japanese reactionaries, and enforce the national education in the alien land, firmly carrying forward the tradition of Juche, that of patriotism.

The first repatriation ship leaves for the motherland, sounding a whistle to the great excitement of the Koreans in Japan thanks to the compatriotic love of the peerlessly great man.

Watching the film with deep emotion, the audience keenly realize that the socialist homeland built by the President and glorified by General Secretary Kim Jong Il is the cradle of a genuine life and happiness of all Koreans.
