Kim Jong Suk Lauded in Mexico
Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- The Mexican Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea released the 48th issue of its bulletin titled "Time-honored Hoeryong" on the occasion of the 92nd birth anniversary of Kim Jong Suk, anti-Japanese heroine. Carried in the bulletin was a picture of the woman commander of Mt. Paektu.

The bulletin noted that Kim Jong Suk, who crossed over the River Tuman to an alien land with her family in her childhood, devoted her all to the liberation of Korea and the accomplishment of President Kim Il Sung's cause of building a country and passed away, failing to visit her birthplace she desired to do so ardently.

The Korean people have kept her native home in Hoeryong in its original state and built her statue on Osan Hill, wishing that General Secretary Kim Jong Il would visit her birthplace, the bulletin said, and went on:

At last Kim Jong Il visited Hoeryong in February this year on his endless journey for field guidance.

Media of the world described his visit to Hoeryong as an action prompted by his assurance that he would bring the future of a thriving nation, contending that the purport of this visit was to announce that everything is ready to realize Kim Jong Suk's lifelong desire.

Her desire was to build Korea into a powerful country which is flourishing in all aspects and where the people lead a happy life with nothing to desire more in the world.

Her desire is being successfully carried into a reality with socialist Korea which is daily changing its looks to emerge a thriving nation by 2012.
