Kim Jong Suk Admired in Peru
Pyongyang, December 11 (KCNA) -- The Peruvian Association for the Study of Revolutionary Activities of Comrade Kim Jong Suk issued a bulletin on December 3 on the occasion of the 92nd birth anniversary of Kim Jong Suk, anti-Japanese heroine. Carried in the bulletin was a picture of the woman commander of Mt. Paektu.

The bulletin in an article titled "Life of Kim Jong Suk" highly praised her great exploits, stressing that she made great contribution to the cause of the Korean revolution.

The bulletin elaborated on the facts that she was born into a poor peasant family in the darkest period of the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule and took part in the anti-Japanese armed struggle led by President Kim Il Sung, establishing her fame as the legendary woman commander.

Even after the liberation of the country she devoted her all to implementing the President's line of building a country, it noted, adding:

Kim Jong Suk dedicated all her life to the people.

Though she passed away so early, she performed great exploits of eternity in all parts of Korea.

What is most conspicuous in her exploits is that she educated General Secretary Kim Jong Il in his childhood in ardent patriotism and brought him up to be heir to the President and a great leader who will bear the responsibility for the future of Korea.
