DPRK Weightlifters Win Gold at East Asian Games

| Pyongyang, December 10 (KCNA) -- DPRK weightlifters Kim Kum Sok and Jong Chun Mi bagged gold medals in the men's 69 kg category contest and the women's 58 kg category contest respectively at the Fifth East Asian Games held on December 8. Kim Kum Sok lifted 180 kg in jerk and 141 kg in snatch, thus coming first with a total of 321 kg while Jong Chun Mi lifted 132 kg in jerk and 100 kg in snatch, placing first with a total of 232 kg. |
