The statement accused the judicial authorities of staging a trial on Nov. 27 at which they labeled the solidarity as an "enemy-benefiting organization" and imposed penal servitudes, etc. upon its leading members.

Noting with irrepressible resentment that the "National Security Law" is unlimitedly applied for cracking down upon the forces of the reunification movement still today, the statement deplored that the reunification movement would be ceaselessly branded as an "illegal one" as long as this evil law remains in force.

Demanding that the above-said labeling of the solidarity be lifted under any circumstances, the statement declared that the youth and students would wage a more dynamic anti-"government" struggle with extraordinary determination in order to achieve independent reunification and bring about progressive politics.
