The resolution noted that Pomminryon has always taken the lead in the reunification movement of the fellow countrymen for defending the three principles of national reunification--independence, peaceful reunification and great national unity--and the inter-Korean declarations and carrying them into practice.

It stressed that Pomminryon would further promote the national reconciliation and cooperation and strengthen the solidarity and unity with all the pro-reunification patriotic forces at home and abroad by strictly adhering to and implementing the inter-Korean declarations in order to defend peace of the country and open up a new phase of independent reunification.

Pomminryon will also ensure the organic relation and joint action with All-Korean Committee for Implementation of June 15 Joint Declaration and heighten the vigilance against the separatist forces' crafty moves to split and estrange the pro-reunification patriotic forces, it said.

The resolution said that the organization would categorically reject all sorts of confrontational concept, including the watchword "no nukes, opening and 3,000 dollars" which denies the inter-Korean declarations, encroaches upon the other party's system and dignity and incites the national confrontation, and decisively check all the joint military exercises and war moves staged with foreign forces.

It will fight it out to get such anti-reunification and anti-national evil laws and institutional barriers as the "National Security Law" abrogated, realize the legality of the South Headquarters of Pomminryon and ensure the release of the unreasonably arrested pro-reunification patriots, it said.

The resolution also stressed that Pomminryon would expand itself and further consolidate the solidarity of the north, south and overseas parties.

Next year is a significant year marking the 10th publication anniversary of the June 15 joint declaration and the 20th birthday of Pomminryon, it noted, saying: Pomminryon will glorify 2010 as a year of shining victory in which its movement is developed and a new epochal turn for the national unity and independent reunification brought under the banner of the inter-Korean joint declarations.
