Chinese Defense Minister Puts Wreath on Martyrs Cemetery
Pyongyang, November 24 (KCNA) -- Col. General Liang Guanglie, minister of National Defense who doubles as a state councilor of the People's Republic of China, laid a wreath at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong on Tuesday.

Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were his party, Chinese Ambassador to the DPRK Liu Xiaoming and the military, naval and air attache of the Chinese embassy.

Pak Jae Gyong, vice-minister of the People's Armed Forces, and officers of the Korean People's Army were on hand.

The wreath in the name of the Chinese defense minister was placed at the cemetery.

The participants observed a moment's silence in memory of the revolutionary martyrs.

Then they laid bouquets before the bust of Kim Jong Suk, an anti-Japanese heroine, and paid silent tribute to her.

Liang made an entry in the visitor's book.
