Dismantlement of Concrete Wall Demanded
Pyongyang, November 18 (KCNA) -- The International Liaison Committee for Reunification and Peace in Korea issued a statement on Nov. 10 in demand of the dismantling of the concrete wall.

Noting that the Korean nation had been under the colonial rule of the Japanese imperialists for more than four decades in the last century and has suffered the tragedy of national division caused by foreign forces for more than half a century after the end of World War II, the statement went on:

The south Korean authorities have kept even the concrete wall along the Military Demarcation Line, dividing the Korean Peninsula into two parts but the Western media are totally silent about it.

The Korean people have a legitimate right to achieve the reunification of the country and the U.S. and other countries responsible for the division of the peninsula should be held accountable for this.

The concrete wall should be pulled down without fail and the Korean people should achieve the reunification of the country independently and peacefully.
