Displayed in the venue of the exhibition were photos and art pieces introducing the efforts of the people of the DPRK to accelerate the building of a thriving nation under the banner of Songun.

Attending it were figures of political parties and organizations including the Workers' Party of Turkey and the Turkey-Korea Friendship Association and masses. On hand were the DPRK ambassador to Turkey and staff members of his embassy.

Esin Ozbey, chairperson of the association, addressing the opening ceremony said that it would mark an important occasion in widely introducing to the Turkish people the drive of the people of the DPRK to build a thriving nation, while firmly defending socialism, rallied close around General Secretary Kim Jong Il, their high level of culture, wisdom and skills and contributing to the development of the friendly relations between the two countries.
