Japanese Reactionaries' Visits to "Yasukuni Shrine" Blasted
Pyongyang, November 3 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, a group of riff-raffs including former Japanese Prime Minister Aso visited "Yasukuni Shrine" to pray for the souls of those killed while earning ill-fame in the past wars of aggression on the occasion of the "autumn festival."

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

The Japanese reactionaries' group visit to "Yasukuni Shrine" is a mockery of human conscience and insult to the peoples who suffered from the wars ignited by Japan.

It goes on:

Lurking behind this is a dangerous intention to create a social atmosphere for reinvasion by denying and distorting Japan's past history of aggression and painting it as a "just one".

The Japanese reactionaries are keeping on the shrine remains and name tablets of those killed in the past wars of aggression in a bid to "sanctify" them and convince the people that the war criminals met heroic deaths while doing something good in the past. It is clear that if Japanese are imbued with this idea, they are bound to harbor an extremely dangerous idea of defending and reviving Japan's past history of aggression, instead of feeling guilty conscience of it. If this tendency is fostered, youngsters of Japan will tend to interpret overseas aggression as "a sacred act" and go so reckless as to play a role in similar wars.

The racket of visit to "Yasukuni Shrine" kicked off by the Japanese reactionaries in Japan would lead to speeding up the moves to convert it into a military power guided by the militarist idea and establish a wartime system and intensifying the provocative exercises for a war of aggression.

The Japanese reactionaries are going reckless in their moves to spark a military conflict against the DPRK, while stoking bitterness towards the DPRK among Japanese under the pretext of non-existent "military threat" from it.

The claim to Tok Islet, the call for tightened sanctions against the DPRK and outbursts asserting preemptive attacks on it, etc. are nothing but a revelation of the Japanese militarist forces' hysteria of reinvasion of Korea that has gone beyond the danger line, the commentary notes, urging the Japanese reactionaries to face up to the trend of the times and halt their reckless militarist moves.
