Cinemas and Theatres of Pyongyang Draw Full Houses
Pyongyang, November 2 (KCNA) -- Cinemas and theatres of Pyongyang are crowded with visitors these days.

Screened at the cinema houses are the newly released Korean feature films "White Birch of Paektu", "Shipwreck", "The Country I Saw" (Parts 2 and 3), "Lifeline" and other films and several pieces of foreign films.

The Taedongmun Cinema, which was reconstructed as a monumental edifice of the Songun era, has been visited by more than 128,000 working people at all strata, school youth and students, Koreans overseas and foreigners staying in Korea in the period from June to October.

The opera "The Dream of the Red Chamber" and the drama "A Sentry under a Neon Lamp", which were recreated in line with the requirement of the new era, are being put on the stage at the Pyongyang Grand Theatre and the East Pyongyang Grand Theatre every day before full houses.

The performance of the State Symphony Orchestra is going on at the Moranbong Theatre, winning acclamation of the audience.

The cinemas and theatres organize scrupulous operation so as to provide better cultural and emotional life to the working people who are all out in the 100-day campaign.
