The vitality and validity of the work have been clearly proved in practice as it comprehensively testifies to the scientific accuracy and truth of socialism, the ideal of the popular masses aspiring after independence and a revolutionary banner.

When socialism collapsed in a number of countries at the end of the 20th century the imperialists and reactionaries claimed that socialism failed and its idea was wrong in a desperate bid to turn the world into a capitalist one.

They trumpeted that such a "globalization" would bring what they called "opportunity" and "prosperity".

But those countries which accepted it were thrown into a political mayhem and socio-economic catastrophe, forcing their peoples to suffer misfortune and pain.

The "globalization" advocated by capitalism faced a crisis and was snubbed in different parts of the world.

Entering the new century the imperialists sought a way out of the crisis in "anti-terror war," i.e. "globalization" of "liberal democracy" supported by military means.

The chaotic financial policy of the U.S. aimed at weathering the financial difficulties created by its "anti-terror war" only facilitated the collapse of the real estate market and deepened the financial crisis. This rapidly developed into worldwide economic crisis due to the economic "globalization".

The worldwide economic panic coupled with food, energy and environmental crises amidst the jungle law-dominated mayhem, a product of the "globalization" of capitalism, is more seriously threatening the existence of humankind than ever before.

Such a tragic situation foretells the end of individualism, liberalism and the capitalist "globalization" and the "end of the history" of the imperialist reactionaries.

The catastrophic consequences of the "globalization" of capitalism and its collapse after the demise of the Cold War are an inevitable product of the unpopular and brutal nature of capitalism.

This eloquently proves that capitalism based on individualism can never bring a genuine life, happiness and prosperity to the popular masses, and it tolls its death knell.

Latin American countries have emerged a strong force accelerating the revival of socialism, injecting fresh energy into the worldwide socialist movement.

The stronger the attraction of socialism grows, the deeper the capitalist political and institutional crises get.

Louder voices concerned about the gloomy prospect of capitalism and confident of its collapse are heard from among media, religious and political circles in the capitalist countries.

It is an inevitable development of history that the society based on individualism is bound to be replaced by the one based on collectivism.

Immense are the pride and self-confidence, joy of life and creative enthusiasm of the army and the people in the DPRK who have steadfastly advanced along the road of socialism under the uplifted banner of Songun despite the imperialists' blatant challenge and abuses.

The DPRK, regarding socialism based on the Juche idea, the Songun idea, as an invincible treasured sword, is now dashing ahead towards a bright morrow, working miracles of history at a time when the world is suffering an upheaval.
