Agreements and MOU Signed between DPRK and Syria

Pyongyang, October 28 (KCNA) -- An agreement on cooperation in tourism between the governments of the DPRK and Syria, an agreement on cooperation in public health and medical science between the ministries of public health of the two countries, an agreement on cooperation in science and technology between the State Administration for Quality Management of the DPRK and the Syrian Organization for Standardization and Metrology and a MOU on cooperation and exchange in agriculture between the DPRK Ministry of Agriculture and the Syrian Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform were signed with due ceremony at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Wednesday.

Present there from the DPRK side were Minister of Foreign Trade Ri Ryong Nam, Minister of Public Health Choe Chang Sik, Director of the State General Bureau of Tourism Kim To Jun, DPRK Ambassador to Syria Choe Su Hon and officials concerned and from the Syrian side members of the Syrian government economic delegation led by Minister of Economy and Commerce Amer Hosni Lutfi and Charge d' affaires ad interim of the Syrian embassy here Souheil Haidar.
