Vladivostok City Photo Exhibition and Ceremony of Donating Books Held

Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- A Vladivostok City photo exhibition and a ceremony of donating books took place at the Fine Art Exhibition in Kangwon Province on Monday on the occasion of the signing of the agreement on establishing the sister city relations between Wonsan City of the DPRK and Vladivostok City of Russia and boosting the friendship and cooperation between them.

Present there were Hong Son Ok, vice-chairwoman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries who is chairwoman of the DPRK-Russia Friendship Association, Ri Il Sop, chairman of the Wonsan City People's Committee, officials concerned and working people in Wonsan City and the Vladivostok City delegation of Russia headed by Mayor Igor Pushkarev and Alexander Matsegora, minister-councilor of the Russian embassy here.

After speeches were made, the participants looked round the photos on Vladivostok City.

Then Russian books were donated to Wonsan University of Agriculture.
