The film tells about the hero of the film who commits a crime against the nation after being conscripted into the south Korean puppet army during the last Korean war and goes overseas but visits the socialist homeland after the lapse of more than four decades and turns over a new leaf, deeply moved by the great all-embracing politics of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Through the portrayal of the checkered career of the hero of the film it impressively tells the truth that the blood ties of the nation are unbreakable and the country is sure to be reunified.

A preview of the film was held at the Taedongmun Cinema on Thursday.

It was watched by senior party and state officials, the chairpersons of the friendly parties, officials of ministries and national institutions and working people in Pyongyang.
