Present at the meeting were officials of the general association, representatives of its Liaoning regional association, compatriots in Shenyang and the DPRK consul general in Shenyang.

Yang Yong Dong, chairman of the general association, in his report said that under the guidance of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il the WPK has victoriously steered the cause of Juche, while resolutely frustrating the persistent moves of the imperialist allied forces to isolate and stifle the DPRK.

He stressed that the more than six decades-long history of the WPK is a glorious history in which it has hewed out the unique path of building a revolutionary party in the era of independence under the banner of the Juche idea.

He called upon all the compatriots in China to cherish deep in their minds the great national pride and honor of being blessed with the illustrious leaders generation after generation and turn out as one in the patriotic movement for achieving the prosperity of the country and its reunification true to
Kim Jong Il's Songun revolutionary leadership.
