Anniversary of Kim Jong Suk's Demise Commemorated in Nigeria
Pyongyang, October 1 (KCNA) -- The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a bulletin on Sept. 22 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of demise of anti-Japanese heroine Kim Jong Suk.

The bulletin in an article said that 60 years have passed since the demise of Kim Jong Suk who was one of the outstanding great persons of modern Korea but the Korean people always keep the memory of her.

It gave a detailed account of the facts that she protected President Kim Il Sung at the risk of her life, regarding him as the heart and brain of the Korean revolution, energetically worked to implement the plan and will of the President, visiting various parts of the country after the liberation, and devoted her all to comrades with warm humanity and total devotion as her natural disposition.

The greatest exploit performed by Kim Jong Suk was that she made sure that steady continuity was given to the cause of the President, the bulletin noted, adding that General Secretary Kim Jong Il has firmly defended socialism in the DPRK true to the will of his mother and ushered in a new era of building a great prosperous and powerful nation.
