Pyongyang, September 30 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Wednesday sent a message of greetings to Alhaji Umaru Musa Yaradua, Nigerian President and commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the independence of his country.
Reaffirming the will to steadily expand and develop the friendly and cooperative relations between the DPRK and Nigeria, Kim in the message sincerely wished the president success in his work for national unity and socio-economic progress.
