All Koreans Called upon to Remain True to Idea of "By Our Nation Itself"

Pyongyang, September 29 (KCNA) -- All the Koreans at home and abroad are called upon to cherish the faith that there is nothing impossible when they struggle in the idea of "By our nation itself" and intensify the movement for national reunification under the uplifted banner of it.

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says this in a signed article.

The idea of "By our nation itself" is instilling strong desire for reunification and patriotism into the Koreans.

The above-said idea has displayed great vitality by imbuing all the Koreans ardently desiring the country's reunification with strong will and energy to achieve it without fail in the spirit of independence and unity, rejecting outside forces. The signal successes made in the movement for the country's reunification in the June 15 era of reunification are the shining fruition of the idea of "By our nation itself".

The June 15 joint declaration has commanded warm support and approval from all the Koreans for its patriotic nature and truth of the above-mentioned idea, its basic spirit, and its exceptionally great attraction.

The prevailing situation urgently calls on the Koreans to unite closer than ever before and pool efforts to bring about a fresh phase in the development of the movement for national reunification.

All the Koreans should deeply grasp the validity of the above-said idea and carry on a vigorous struggle for firmly preserving and thoroughly implementing the June 15 joint declaration. This is the only way of establishing the sovereignty of the nation and achieving peace, reunification and prosperity of the nation.
