Displayed in the venues of the functions were works of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and photos on their undying exploits, books and photos showing the true picture of Songun Korea and handicrafts associated with wisdom and talents of the Korean people.

Speeches were made at their opening ceremonies.

The director of the Department for the International, Overseas Economic and Inter-regional Relations of the Nidjegorod Regional Administration of Russia stressed that the DPRK is proudly demonstrating its dignity in the international arena with its strong defence capability, adding that the exhibition would provide an opportunity to get deeper understanding of it.

The governor of a district of Mexico and the acting governor of a district of Peru said that they extend firm solidarity to the Korean people standing against the U.S. imperialists and struggling to defend the sovereignty of the country and achieve national reunification.

They also stressed that through exhibitions, the peoples of their countries would get good understanding of the brilliant culture of Korea.
