Pyongyang, September 28 (KCNA) -- The Peruvian People's Women Union registered anti-Japanese heroine Kim Jong Suk as its honorary member on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of her demise.
A ceremony of conveying the certificate of honorary membership took place at the building of the union on Sept. 22.
Ruth Anchorena, general secretary of the union, handed the certificate to the DPRK ambassador to Peru.
Written on the certificate are letters reading: "The Executive Council of the Peruvian People's Women Union has honor to register Comrade Kim Jong Suk, a heroine of the Korean people, as its honorary member and issues the certificate of her honorary membership on Sept. 22, 2009, the 60th anniversary of her demise".
