The Korean people under the outstanding Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il have firmly defended the sovereignty of the country and the dignity of the nation and dynamically pushed ahead with the general onward march for building a great prosperous and powerful nation.

It is the firm belief of the party that they will achieve the reunification of the country and build a thriving socialist nation in the near future under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il, he concluded.
