Head of an office of the State Administration for Quality Management Choe Chi Ho told KCNA that the industrial art is ever developing under the unified guidance of the state, and added:

The state instituted the law and regulations on industrial art to provide a legal foundation for the development of industrial art.

On the basis of this, industrial art exhibitions, shows, prize contests, short courses, seminars and others were held throughout the country, registering remarkable successes.

Shown at the recent exhibition were a lot of designs of machines, textile and costume, architectural decoration and others which were of great significance in developing the national economy.
