Anniversary of Death of Kim Jong Suk Observed in Mexico
Pyongyang, September 14 (KCNA) -- The Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism issued bulletin titled "Life of Total Dedication," carrying a portrait of woman commander of Mt. Paektu, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of death of Kim Jong Suk, an anti-Japanese heroine.

The bulletin said in an article that the whole life of Kim Jong Suk was a life totally dedicated to the freedom, liberation and prosperity of the country, adding that she participated in the anti-Japanese armed struggle to liberate the country, earning her fame as an anti-Japanese woman commander.

After the liberation of the country she visited factories, towns and villages in order to implement the line of nation-building laid down by President Kim Il Sung and energetically aroused the people to the building of a new country till the last moments of her life, it pointed out.

Recalling that she deemed it as her noblest mission to protect the President, the bulletin noted that at the critical moments when enemy rifles were leveled on the headquarters during days of the anti-Japanese armed struggle, she protected the commander by becoming a shield.

Her noble life of total dedication will always be remembered not only by the Korean people but by progressive humankind, it concluded.
