Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il received a message of greetings from D. Medvedev, president of the Russian Federation, on Wednesday on the occasion of the birthday of the DPRK.
The Russian President in his message expressed expectation that the mutual cooperation between Russia and the DPRK would continue to develop in the interests of the two peoples and thus contribute to strengthening peace and stability in the Korean Peninsula and the rest of Northeast Asia.
The message wished Kim Jong Il success and happiness and the Korean people prosperity.
