U.S. Military Strong Arm Policy towards DPRK under Fire
Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- It was reported by Reuters recently that a Lieut. general of the U.S. Air Force disclosed the U.S. military was in the process of securing 10~12 Bunker-Busters for the purpose of destroying underground nuclear facilities, etc. of the DPRK and Iran. The U.S. military was reported to have stepped up the production of the above-said bombs for striking "enemy" underground facilities by use of Stealth bomber B-2s, etc.

Rodong Sinmun Monday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

The above-said facts indicate that there is no change in the U.S. military strategy for aggression aimed at bringing the anti-imperialist independent countries under its control by force and realizing its wild ambition for domination and it is getting more undisguised in it day by day, posing ever greater danger to them.

The U.S. military strong arm policy towards the DPRK is a vivid manifestation of its extreme hostility towards the DPRK and its socialism and Washington's sinister scenario for the second Korean war.

Neither change nor progress can be expected in the DPRK-U.S. relations and the issue of denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula as long as the above-said policy persists.

The DPRK will bolster up its war deterrent in every way and further consolidate the anti-imperialist military front in order to protect the sovereignty, security and peace of the country and the nation from the grave moves of the U.S. imperialist warlike forces to launch a war of aggression against it.

The U.S. is required to review its history of confrontation with the DPRK. Washington would be well advised to avoid making a harmful option, drawing a lesson from it.
