Pheasants and Roe Deer Bred and Set free in Korea
Pyongyang, August 27 (KCNA) -- North Hwanghae Province of Korea has bred and set free more than 2.2 million pheasants and roe deer in mountains over last three decades.

Last year alone, the province raised more than 85,000 pheasants and 2,200 roe deer.

Cities and counties of the province have built corrals in various places favorable for the inhabitation of pheasants and roe deer and are increasing the number of the animals, securing breed animals and doing their raising and management in a scientific and technological way.

The province has set animal reserves suited to their proliferation and is regularly conducting the work of making favorable conditions for the growth of pheasants and roe deer by planting lots of trees.

Besides, it is arranging fodder conditions so that they adapt themselves to the changed environment.

Today officials and working people of the province are successfully carrying on the work for breeding more pheasants and roe deer, prompted by a patriotic spirit to turn their villages into beautiful ones good to live in.
