Remains of Korean Draftees Found in Japan
Pyongyang, August 17 (KCNA) -- More remains of Koreans, who were taken to Japan for forced labor during the past military occupation of Korea by the Japanese imperialists, were unearthed, according to a south Korean Yonhap News report dated Aug. 14.

Those remains of 20 odd bodies were estimated to belong to Koreans who were drafted for the construction of an airport in Hokkaido of Japan between 1943 and 1945.

Some of the remains were found with broken waist bones ghastly buried and most of them cremated.

The victims were judged to be buried by Japanese just after their death as the remains were found buried in a hollow without care.
