Truth about Japanese Imperialists' Cremation of Dead Korean Laborers Disclosed
Pyongyang, August 17 (KCNA) -- Truth about the cremation of the Korean laborers who met deaths while doing slave labor in Japan was disclosed for the first time, according to CBS of south Korea.

This fact was disclosed by the survey paper provided by Hiroshi Ishimura, teacher in Hokkaido, to the south Korean Committee for Probe into Truth about Damage Done by the Japanese Imperialists' Forcible Drafting during Their Occupation of Korea in July.

The paper made a detailed account of all facts that more than 70 out of the Korean workers who were forced to do slave labor in Hokkaido in the 1930s and 1940s died of pneumonia, consumption, bruise, asphyxia and for other causes and were cremated.

Noting that this information clearly shows the miserable plight of the Koreans who were forced to do slave labor at that time, CBS said it is presumed that the Japanese imperialists cremated the dead bodies in a bid to conceal the truth.
