Pyongyang, August 15 (KCNA) -- Premier of the DPRK Cabinet Kim Yong Il Friday sent a congratulatory message to Moulaye Ould Mohamed Laghdaf on his appointment as Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
In his message he expressed the belief that the long-standing friendly relations between the two countries would grow stronger in the common interests of the peoples of the two countries and wished him and the Mauritanian people great success in their work for the prosperity of the country.
Meanwhile, DPRK Foreign Minister Pak Ui Chun on the same day sent a similar message to Naha Mint Mouknass on her appointment as minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Mauritania.
