Pyongyang, August 8 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the British Branch of Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain issued a joint statement on July 27 strongly denouncing the south Korean authorities for their brutal suppression of the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification and other patriotic people.
It held that it is a sycophantic and treacherous act to suppress the forces struggling for the country's reunification.
It stressed that the organizations demand the south Korean authorities release the detained personages, halt at once the suppression of the pro-reunification patriotic forces and repeal the "National Security Law", an anti-reunification law.
The statement expressed full support to the patriotic people in their struggle for the democratization of the south Korean society and reunification of the country.
