S. Korean Authorities' Human Rights Abuses Censured
Pyongyang, August 4 (KCNA) -- Amnesty International issued a statement on July 31 chiding the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors for abusing the rights of workers, according to CBS of south Korea.

Recalling that the south Korean authorities have resorted to such despicable practices as cutting off the supply of water, food, and medicine essential for human life in a bid to suppress the strike of unionists of Ssangyong Motor Co., the statement declared such human rights abuses are intolerable.

Worse still, the police used electric guns against protesters, the statement noted, adding they were little different from lethal weapons. It demanded the authorities immediately stop the human rights abuses.
