Pyongyang, August 3 (KCNA) -- An Indonesian preparatory committee for commemorating the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung was inaugurated with due ceremony on July 23.
Rachmawati Soekarnoputri, chairman of the founding committee of the Indonesian Soekarno Foundation for Education, was selected chairman of the preparatory committee at the inaugural ceremony.
The preparatory committee decided to hold colorful political and cultural events and publish books on the President's feats till April 2012.
A message to General Secretary Kim Jong Il was adopted at the ceremony.
