Japan's "White Paper on Defense for 2009" Slammed
Pyongyang, July 28 (KCNA) -- The Japanese reactionaries recently made public a "white paper on defense for 2009" in which they termed the DPRK "a serious threat" to Japan and disclosed their scenario to seize Tok Islet. This patently proves that their hostile policy towards the DPRK and ambition for reinvasion have reached an extreme phase.

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday observes this in a signed commentary.

Recalling that they, blaming the DPRK's "nuclear program" for self-defence in the white paper, claimed this was a "factor of threat that seriously infringes" upon the peace and security in Northeast Asia and the international community, the commentary goes on:

This is another unpardonable grave provocation to the DPRK as it is a revelation of their bitter hostility towards Pyongyang.

It is well known that Japan, a war criminal state, has again emerged a dangerous force of a war in Asia by seeking its militarist ambition.

Japan's escalated moves for militarization and reinvasion are rendering the regional situation tenser and increasing the danger of a war in Asia, putting the peaceful environment of the neighboring countries at peril. The DPRK, in particular, is exposed to a grave threat due to Japan's sinister hostile policy towards it and Tokyo's moves for reinvasion. It is preposterous, therefore, for Japan to raise a hue and cry over the "threat" from the DPRK as it is nothing but a cynical ploy to justify Tokyo's militarist moves.

What should not be overlooked is the fact that the Japanese reactionaries again claimed in the white paper that Tok Islet, part of the inviolable territory of Korea, belongs to Japan.

The above-said lie told by them only betrays their sinister intention to seize it anytime. It is inveterate disposition and bad habit of Japan to tell lies, fabricate cases and perpetrate aggression and plunder.

But the Japanese reactionaries are sadly mistaken. They had better properly know who their rival is and discard brigandish temper.
