In such articles as "War Victory Day" and "Years of Confrontation" the bulletin referred in detail to the facts that the U.S. imperialists ignited a war to destroy the young DPRK in its cradle after occupying south Korea at the end of the Second World War but the servicemen of the heroic Korean People's Army went over to a prompt counterattack by the order of President Kim Il Sung, dealing telling blows at the enemy troops.

The bulletin went on:

The wild dream of the U.S. imperialists to occupy the whole of Korea was frustrated by the matchless courage and self-sacrificing spirit of the Korean People's Army and people. The Korean people achieved a great victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

The bulletin also carried an article proving the justice of the measures taken by the DPRK to cope with the desperate moves of the U.S. imperialists for aggression and an article telling readers that the 26th April Spring Friendship Art Festival was held in Pyongyang with great success.
