Exploits of Kim Hyong Jik Praised
Pyongyang, July 23 (KCNA) -- The 115th birth anniversary of Kim Hyong Jik, an indomitable revolutionary fighter and outstanding leader of the anti-Japanese national liberation movement in Korea, was commemorated in different countries.

A reading session on "Father and Korean National Association" from Chapter 1 of the first volume of Part 1 "The Anti-Japanese Revolution" of "With the Century", reminiscences of President
Kim Il Sung, was held by the Youth Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in Democratic Congo and a seminar by the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea "Kanggye" of Colombia on July 10.

Nzemba Yangana, chairman of the Democratic Congolese group, said at the reading session that the national liberation, desired so ardently by Kim Hyong Jik in his lifetime was realized through the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle organized by Kim Il Sung.

Jairo Gonzalez, chairman of the Colombian group, said at the seminar that Kim Hyong Jik devoted all his life to the struggle for liberating the country from the Japanese imperialists' military occupation and that he formed the Korean National Association and led the national liberation movement of Korea as a whole.

He provided an ideological and moral source of the Juche idea, the guiding idea and doctrine of socialist Korea, the chairman noted, adding that the present reality of the DPRK is what he desired.
