Pyongyang, July 21 (KCNA) -- The leader of the August 15 grand march team for reunification who is vice-chairman of the general student council of Chosun University of south Korea made public an appeal on July 17 calling on the youth and students to take the lead in the struggle to bring down traitor Lee Myung Bak.
Noting that the present regime has already been forsaken by the people, the appeal denounced the present ruling forces for persistently enforcing such unpopular laws and policies as the "law on part-time job" and the policy for "improving four large rivers".
The appeal said: The present regime is now going mad with confrontation with the DPRK after totally negating the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration. It is kicking up a repressive atmosphere by frantically suppressing the organizations for progress and reunification by invoking the "National Security Law."
A war atmosphere is mounting on the Korean Peninsula due to the Lee Myung Bak group's anti-DPRK moves.
Recalling that people are forming a front of the struggle against Lee Myung Bak and dictatorship through solidarity and unity, the appeal called upon the youth and students to go among the people and motivate them.
