S. Korean Authorities' Troop Dispatch to Lebanon Flayed
Pyongyang, July 20 (KCNA) -- The preparatory committee for the Solidarity against Troop Dispatch grouping more than 40 civic and public organizations and the Democratic Labor Party and other political parties and organizations of south Korea called a press conference in Seoul on July 15 to denounce the puppet National Assembly for passing the bill on the troop dispatch to Lebanon.

Speakers at the press conference recalled that the presence of south Korean troops in Lebanon was due to expire on July 18 but the session of the "National Assembly" passed the bill calling for the extension of their presence till the end of the next year.

The "National Assembly" deserves public denunciation as it cleared the bill on the troop dispatch to support the U.S. in its war of aggression, shelving the issue of the people's livelihood now in the grip of a crisis, they declared, and went on:

What merits a more serious attention is that gentries of the "Grand National Party" and some other lawmakers even asserted the need to ease the conditions for the NA carriage of bills on overseas troop dispatch.

This assertion is aimed at providing conditions for dispatching armed forces to the shambles of the U.S. war of aggression including Afghanistan anytime without any limit, they deplored.

They declared they could never tolerate such reckless actions of the NA as going against the expectation of the people desirous of peace, yielding to the U.S. pressure.
