Puppet Police Denounced for Suppressing Sit-in Striker
Pyongyang, July 18 (KCNA) -- The Teachers Union (Jongyojo) of south Korea issued a statement on July 13 to denounce the puppet police for suppressing the chairman of Jongyojo in his sit-in hunger strike.

The statement recalled that the chairman launched a sit-in hunger strike in the plaza outside the Seoul City Office that day in protest against the authorities' suppression of the participants in the actions for issuing declarations on the situation.

But one police company of Namdaemun Police Station in Seoul committed such violence against him as seizing a slogan board and even a chair on charges of "violation of traffic law", etc., the statement charged.

It was obviously the plaza in front of the city office where he had been on a sit-in hunger strike but the police insisted he violated the "traffic law," it noted, adding their assertion was nothing but sheer sophism.

The statement declared the organization would support the chairman in his sit-in hunger strike defying whatever crackdown, threat and blackmail and resolutely fight against any disturbers.
