Ugandan Figure Demands UNSC Retract Its "Resolution on Sanctions" against DPRK
Pyongyang, July 18 (KCNA) -- Chango Machyo, senior adviser to Presidency of Uganda, issued a statement on July 7 on the occasion of the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle. It denounced the "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK adopted by the United Nations Security Council and demanded its immediate retraction.

The statement noted that it was the just measures taken by the DPRK, a sovereign state, to have recently launched a satellite and conducted a nuclear test as they were for its development of science and technology and protection from the threat of outsiders.

The statement continued:

Nevertheless, some Western countries are claiming that the DPRK violated international law. They are pulling up Pyongyang over its launch of satellite and nuclear test, interfering in its internal affairs.

Expressing positive support to and solidarity with the statement of the DPRK Foreign Ministry, the statement held there can be neither true peace nor stability without independence and equality.
