Pyongyang, July 15 (KCNA) -- The Students Action Solidarity to Force Lee Myung Bak to Step down and Regain Democracy grouping 34 university student councils and 22 students organizations of south Korea held a meeting in Seoul on July 10 denouncing the Lee Myung Bak group for its moves to stamp out democracy.
The participants accused the authorities of taking such undemocratic tyrannical actions as conducting a rude investigation into university professors for the mere reason that they conducted education contrary to their taste and perpetrating an investigation into e-mail messages of media persons.
They expressed irrepressible resentment at the reality that media persons are handcuffed, indicted and subject to disciplinary actions for making just assertions.
They called on the people to wage a stubborn struggle against the present authorities' moves to stamp out democracy and reckless suppression and force the Lee group to step down.
