Pyongyang, July 11 (KCNA) -- The People's Council for People's Livelihood and Democracy, the All-People Measure Committee against the Murder of Evacuees in Ryongsan and other civic and public organizations in south Korea jointly called a press conference in Seoul on July 7 and denounced traitor Lee Myung Bak for seeking to nominate Chon Song Gwan keen on fascist repression and confrontation with fellow countrymen as puppet public prosecutor general.
Speakers at the conference charged that Chon, informally nominated as public prosecutor general, has concealed the truth of Ryongsan incident while defending policemen and gangsters who killed evacuees in Ryongsan.
He has not only harshly persecuted pro-reunification movement organizations including the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification and executed a lot of people after faking up all sorts of "spy cases" but also engaged himself in all kinds of corruption and irregularities including the speculative dealing of real estate, bribery and swindling, they pointed out.
They contended that Lee's informal nomination of this guy as public prosecutor general is little short of declaring that he would not change the present "state administration."
