Many People Visit Phophyong Revolutionary Site
Pyongyang, July 11 (KCNA) -- An endless stream of working people from different walks of life and school youth and children is flowing to the Phophyong Revolutionary Site on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Kim Hyong Jik, an indomitable revolutionary fighter.

The site is a significant place where Kim Hyong Jik conducted revolutionary activities from Juche 10 (1921) to Juche 13 (1924), frequently crossing the River Amnok from Badaogou of China.

Staying there he gave guidance to the meeting for inaugurating the Phophyong Branch of the Korean National Association and the activities of revolutionaries in homeland, had talks with those coming to the Phophyong Church and taught revolutionary and patriotic songs to young people.

The site consists of the Phophyong Post Office and the Phophyong Noodle Shop associated with Kim Hyong Jik's revolutionary activities, Tokphanmit house and a spring where he gave medical treatment to people and educated them in the anti-Japanese patriotic idea and the progressive idea, and others.

Also there is the Phophyong Police Post where he led a prison life after being arrested by the Japanese imperialists on a tip-off of their stooge.
