Pyongyang, July 11 (KCNA) -- The General Association of Koreans in China issued a statement on July 4 in denunciation of traitor Lee Myung Bak group's fascist suppression of the members of the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification (Pomminryon).
Saying that the brutal suppression of the headquarters is an anti-reunification act of denying the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and blocking national reconciliation and unity and another dangerous provocation to fellow countrymen, the statement vehemently denounced the suppression.
The statement accused the group of cooking up "cases of violation of the National Security Law" recently in a bid to incite the consciousness of confrontation with the DPRK among the south Korean people and further strengthen its fascist dictatorial system.
The statement urged the group to put an immediate end to the fascist suppression of the reunification movement organizations and release the illegally detained members as early as possible, bearing in mind that its intensified fascist suppression and confrontation with fellow countrymen would only precipitate its own self-destruction.
