The secretary of a district committee of the Communist Reconstruction Party of Italy in Rome in his speech accused the U.S. imperialists of instigating the UNSC to adopt an unreasonable "presidential statement" and "resolution on the sanctions" against the DPRK recently over the DPRK's just satellite launch and nuclear test and desperately kicking up a racket of pressurizing the DPRK.

Socialist Korea's satellite launch was an exercise of a legitimate right of a sovereign state for the development of its science and technology and its access to nuclear weapons was an exercise of a sovereign right to cope with the U.S. nuclear threat and war moves, the secretary said, and went on:

We bitterly denounce the U.S. moves to ignite another war, oblivious of the lesson it drew from the shameful defeat it suffered in the war of aggression launched against the DPRK in the 1950s and urge it to stop them at once, extending full support and solidarity to the Korean people in their efforts to build a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation and accomplish the cause of the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.

The chairman of the Group of Dialectical Materialists of Italy noted that all the achievements made by the Korean people give the progressive people of the world aspiring after independence, peace and socialism great confidence and courage.

We extend the highest glory to Kim Jong Il always leading the Korean people to victory with his Songun politics and assure them that we will positively carry on the struggle in support of their just struggle, he stressed.
