Campaign for Second Declaration on Situation Launched in S. Korea
Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- The Teachers Union of south Korea (Jongyojo) released its second declaration on the situation on July 2, denouncing the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors' unpopular policy and fascist suppression.

The declaration contended that the teachers should be guaranteed freedom of speech and expression as one of citizens.

Nevertheless, the authorities are imposing unreasonable punishment on the teachers involved in the campaign for announcing the declaration on the situation, the declaration said, branding it as an act of harassing the democratization of society.

It demanded the authorities stop at once the crackdown on the teachers and enforce a correct educational policy.

The organization said that it would conduct a signature campaign for the movement for announcing the declaration on the situation among teachers across south Korea and open to the public the list of the participants through the organ of Jongyojo.
