Invariable Revolutionary Mode of WPK
Pyongyang, July 3 (KCNA) -- It is the invariable revolutionary mode of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) to push ahead with the socialist construction by raising the role of the working class with the People's Army as the pillar.

The WPK thoroughly applies the mode of Songun politics to the leadership over the revolution and construction.

If one has a strong army and the working class, the core unit of the society, strives with redoubled efforts, one has nothing to fear in the world and can occupy any fortress. This principle has been proved throughout the history of the Korean revolution.

The People's Army has played a pivotal role in accomplishing the victory in the acute anti-imperialist confrontation whenever a grave trial befalls.

Typical is the fact that in the 1990s it smashed the anti-DPRK moves of the imperialist reactionary forces, defended socialism at the crossroads of survival and ruin and made a breach in the socialist construction, standing in the van of the endeavors to bridge over the economic difficulties.

The revolutionary soldier spirit prevalent among the soldiers has pervaded the whole country, bringing about a new turn in the revolution and construction.

The working class, which had built a socialist power on the debris of war and opened up the heyday of the Workers' Party era through the vigorous 70-day, 100-day and 200-day campaigns, triumphantly overcame the "Arduous March", consolidating the foundation of the independent national defence industry in the worst adversity.

It has thus brought about a new era for building a great, prosperous and powerful nation in the DPRK.

The working class is playing the role of a heroic vanguard and brave shock brigade in a general offensive for building a thriving socialist nation.

It is registering signal successes every day through forceful innovative 150-day campaign to make a breakthrough for building the thriving nation in all sectors of the national economy including electricity, coal, metal and railway transport.
