Struggle against Adoption of Evil Laws Launched in S. Korea
Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- People from all walks of life in south Korea launched in Seoul on June 29 an action against the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors' moves to adopt the unpopular evil laws.

Members of civic and public organizations and opposition parties staged a sit-in strike outside the "National Assembly" building.

At the press conference held prior to the strike, speakers denounced the Lee Myung Bak "government" and the "Grand National Party" for their high-handed practices to adopt the "Lee Myung Bak evil laws" despite the people's protest.

This is little short of an open declaration that they will resort only to the high-handed rule, denying democracy, they pointed out.

They said that political and civic and public circles would launch a joint struggle to prevent the "Lee Myung Bak evil laws" from being adopted.

In another development, organizations of workers and peasants respectively held rallies for checking the puppet authorities' moves to adopt the evil laws.
